We are blessed to welcome one of our newest Board members, Greg Schafer, to the Good Shepherd family. Mr. Schafer – who works as a Vice President of Market Access at Guardant Health – told us felt a true calling to Good Shepherd’s mission.

“I chose to be part of the Good Shepherd board as I feel a true calling to the mission of helping moms, babies, and families in addressing any needs they may have to help them thrive as God’s children.”

Mr. Schafer was gracious enough to answer additional introductory questions as he joins the Good Shepherd Board.

What was your first job? 

Working on the family farm where I grew up.

What makes Good Shepherd uniquely positioned to help children and families? 

As a part of Catholic Charities, I believe Good Shepherd Family Services is positioned to help those families and children in need with the support of the faith community and the dedicated members of the staff, while reflecting God’s love for all of his children.
