Your gift of time, talent or treasure helps Good Shepherd’s resources go further! Good Shepherd depends upon the charity of members in the community who offer a bit of their mind, body and spirit for our mission.
A Few Ideas
Serve with a small group of people to plan an event, give professional advice on financial and promotional issues, or help design projects like a historical timeline display.
Provide some muscle at one of our fundraising events, like Dodge Ball. Or for that matter, field your own team to play after the set-up chores are done. Lend a little elbow grease for special clean-up or outside projects around our facility. Help our staff load up Christmas presents to deliver to their young clients.
Pray or lead your family or group in prayer for our at-risk kids and troubled families. Host a Good Shepherd speaker at your organization or small group. Be an ambassador for Fostering Faithful Families at your church or parish.
Due to the scope and confidential nature of our work, our volunteer opportunities in directly serving our clients are limited, but please don’t hesitate to contact us with your thoughts and ideas.
Younger than 21 but still want to help? Check out our Collect to Connect opportunities. It’s a great way to connect with the challenges our foster youth, teen moms and their babies, expectant parents facing a crisis pregnancy, and adoptive parents struggle with every day.
