What is an adoption plan?

An adoption plan is simply what is says: making a plan for adoption. In the past, phrases like “putting up  for adoption” or “giving up my baby for adoption” have been used, but we understand that there is no “giving up” when it comes to adoption. Birth moms make a brave, loving, and life-giving decision to place their babies in adoptive homes, and we honor that decision by using positive language like “make an adoption plan” and “place for adoption”.
