As the Easter season unfolds around us, bringing with it a sense of rejuvenation and hope, I reflect deeply on the journey Good Shepherd and Marygrove have embarked upon together. It’s been a time of transformation, growth, and a commitment to our shared mission to bring the healing, help, and hope of Jesus Christ to those in need with a compassionate, caring presence.

I am incredibly grateful for the opportunity to strengthen the bond between these two Ministries of Catholic Charities, enhancing our efficiency and strengthening our collective impact to serve children and families. I am genuinely excited to see how our teams work together, providing seamless access to a broader range of services, advocating more effectively, and ensuring every child and family receives the support they need.

As we celebrate the promise of new beginnings during this Easter season, I want to express profound gratitude to every staff member. Your dedication and trust in our vision of the future are not just inspiring, they are the foundation of our success. Your commitment is what makes our mission possible, and I am deeply honored to work alongside each and every one of you.

I want to express my heartfelt thanks to our donors, partners, and volunteers. Your ongoing support, in all its forms, is not just appreciated; it is vital. Your generosity allows us to continue providing critical services to those in need. Your partnership is not just valuable; it is invaluable to us.

Our purpose as a ministry is a responsibility we take to heart. As we continue to solidify our one voice and one ministry, let us remember that we are part of something bigger—a communion of care that spans 11 counties of the Archdiocese and touches the lives of countless babies, children, youth, and families.

Celebrating our shared work and being connected to something bigger than ourselves fills our hearts with joy, peace, and the knowledge that we are making a difference in many lives. I am profoundly grateful for that. Let us continue to work together, serve with compassion and integrity, and be a beacon of hope for all those in need.

Wishing you and your families an Easter season filled with joy and hope.

Kathy
