For our clients, education opens doorways that would otherwise remain shut. The young mothers in our Maternity program work hard on finishing their high school diplomas or towards vocational training and experience, working towards a better life for themselves and their babies. That being said, we are so proud to share that two of our young moms in our shelter have completed high school! One young mother, eighteen years old and mom to a 6 month old baby boy, graduated from high school in May. Another young mom, also eighteen and parenting a 2 year old son, passed her HiSET exam to earn her high school equivalency. We are so proud of both young women and their hard work!
