The entire Christian world is eagerly waiting to celebrate the birth of our Savior.

It’s Christmas week, and we’re all filled with excitement and anticipation!

These are emotions that are quite familiar at Good Shepherd. The time mothers, children, and families spend with us is a pinpoint in time when they’re looking toward something better. Our team is blessed to be a part of the story of their new lives – it could be caring for a mom in our shelter as her baby is born, creating a new family through adoption, or supporting a foster family as they move toward a more stable future. Our jobs are challenging but rewarding beyond measure.

I’m thankful to be called to this important work. I’m awed for the miracles we see every day at Good Shepherd. I’m honored to be surrounded by exceptional people who demonstrate their faithful commitment to all members of God’s family.
