We celebrated Go to Bat for Kids Night with Catholic Charities St. Louis and the St. Louis Cardinals a few weeks ago, and our clients and families had a blast! One of our families shared some great photos and their family’s story:

Vanteen and James came to Good Shepherd when wanted to take in their relatives, R and S (pictured). They are a sweet couple who prioritizes family and stepped up to care for R and S. Vanteen and James obtained guardianship of R and S, and have decided to adopt their younger sister, baby M! The family has also obtained guardianship of R, S, and M’s older sister, who will be heading to college this fall. Congratulations to this sweet family!
